Mr. Kanaksi G. Khimji (Chairman)

Mr. Kanaksi G. Khimji is the founding member and chairman of Oman Cricket. He is an indelible patron of the game and is instrumental in building Oman Cricket from its grass roots to international status. He recently became the Global winner of the 2011 Pepsi ICC Development Program Annual Award for Lifetime Service. His outstanding contribution to the growth of Cricket in Oman was recognized and commended by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

H.H. Qais Khalid Qais Al Said (Vice Chairman)

H.H. Qais Khalid Qais Al Said, the current vice chairman, is a prominent advocate of the game, especially amongst the locals. Having played Junior county Cricket in the UK with Oxford county, Milfield junior school alongside ex-England international Simon Jones, and represented Oman on the international stage – he has the credentials to back his bid to popularize the game and attract more Omani players into it.

Mr. Madhursinh Jesrani (General Secretary)

Mr. Madhursinh Jesrani, the long serving Oman Cricket General Secretary has devoted his life to growing the global game in Oman and is a big reason for how far it’s developed today. He has largely become the face of Omani cricket and his passion for Cricket is unparalleled within the Cricketing fraternity in Oman.

Mr. Kiran Asher (Treasurer)

Mr. Kiran Asher is a vital cog in the Oman Cricket wheel. He is an inception member of the committee since 2007 and is the official Oman Cricket representative at the Asian Cricket Council meetings.

Mr. Pankaj Khimji

Mr. Pankaj Khimji is an integral part of the Oman Cricket board and plays an important role in the infrastructure development and growth of Oman Cricket. He is the official representative for Oman Cricket at the annual ICC meetings and is part of the executive board membership for the Asian Cricket Council.

Mr. Syed Anwar Ahsan

Apart from his role as a board member, Mr. Syed Anwar Ahsan is the National Chief Selector of the National team. He is also the head of the Oman Cricket disciplinary committee.

Mr. Maqbool Moosa Al Lawati

Mr. Maqbool Moosa Al Lawati plays a central role in the development of Cricket in Oman in general, but more specifically in the management of Regional Development projects of Oman Cricket. Having participated in the Oman Cricket domestic league as a player and served as Vice Chairman of OCC Board previously, Mr. Lawati brings a diverse 360 degree understanding with regards to the operations and development of Oman Cricket.

Mr. Dad Mohammed Al Balushi

Mr. Dad Mohammed Al Balushi has been a faithful campaigner for Oman Cricket for over 30 years. His undying passion for the game and the development of Cricket in Oman has seen him serve Oman Cricket in many roles such as a team manager, player, tournament committee member and board member. He is the vital link between Oman Cricket and the vast majority of its local Omanis playing the game. He is also Oman Cricket’s representative with the Ministry of Sports Affairs.

Mr. Dilip Mehta

A cricket enthusiast, Dilip Mehta, has played a key role in the development of cricket in Oman. He has encouraged the youth to take to cricket not only as a sport but also as a vocation. He was behind one of the most successful and premier clubs in the capital which has been regularly taking part in all regional tests and friendly matches. With help from like-minded people, he continues to promote the game religiously.
